- Print and cut out the templates provided, then use one of the clouds to lightly trace the shape onto your page using a lead pencil. Woking on an old mouse pad use a pin or piercing tool to make holes at even intervals along your pencil lines.
- Erase the pencil marks and use embroidery thread to stich on the design, using the backstitch method.
- Trace the template onto the reverse side of textured cardstock then cut out the cloud shape and sand all the edges for a neat finish.
- Add text to small tags and pierce both the top of the tag and your textured cloud shape, and use the embroidery thread to attach the two pieces - securing the loose ends on the backs with tape.
- Add foam dots to the back of both the pieces then secure the cloud to your page, and gently pull the tag downwards before attaching it to the page to create the floating effect.
Use the clouds to embellish layouts, cards and other projects - or as an alternative try cutting the clouds from patterned papers and use stitching in co-ordinating colours to match.
